How to arrive at Owa Lodge with style
Owa lodge is located in Areguling, a local village in a protected and preserved valley and yet 10min West from Kuta. Areguling beach and its well known surf spot are a 4mn walk from the Lodge. Our rooms and on site restaurant are nested in a tropical garden and surrounded by rice field and nature.

Owa can be tricky to find and the access is bumpy (a priviledge to pay to access a quiet heaven and an authentic experience).
If you are flying, it’s easy. This is the best option as Kuta, Lombok is very close. Quite often guests would like to experience some of Bali and catch the fast boat or slow boat from Padang Bai. However the trip itself, after transport is almost a full day of traveling, it will cost you approximately the same. You will have a much more adventurous experience if you arrive in Kuta first, base here, and venture out on day or overnight trips.
AIRLINES TO USE
From the Lombok international Airport to Owa take about 30mn.
CITILINK, is the domestic travel section of 'Garuda Airlines' and are the best. They receive priority so are vary rarely delayed. You also receive 10kg luggage / 7kg cabin luggage traveling from Bali and 20kg from other destinations. Our first choice.
WINGAIR / LION AIR - are the same, and 7kg cabin baggage is include but no luggages.
SUPER AIR JET - new to the domestic scene in Indonesia, if use them multiple times and it’s been excellent with 20kg baggage included.
SCOOT - If you are arriving from Singapore or Kuala Lumpur, Scoot has also opened up more routes which is a quality budget airline.
ORGANIZE A TRANSFER
From the airport to Owa, the STANDARD RATE is IDR 200.000. Please be aware the locals at the airport may try a higher price. And many drivers do not knoww where Owa is and might charge you a higher price to go to Areguling. If you would like us to organise a driver, we are happy to help. We have selected and working over a decade with nice, local drivers from Areguling village to garantee an enjoyable ride. Please provide the following details:

From Padang Bai - FAST FERRY
The most adventurous way to reach Lombok is by boat. Many companies can take you Bangsal harbor or Senggigi harbor in the North-West of Lombok . We recomand you Ekajaya company that has a daily departure at 11am. The crossing takes about 2hours and 2hours more to reach Owa Lodge. We can organise to have a taxi driver to wait for you and reach Owa Other information:

At Padang harbor you will have to a pay local harbor tax of IDR 10.000
Upon arrival, it is possible that porters will try to carry your luggages without asking and expect to be paid for, we recommand to stay close to your belongings and politely refuse.
From Padang Bai - SLOW FERRY
The slow ferry depart from Padang bai to reach Lembar harbor in the South-West coast of Lombok. This is the cheapest option. You can book your ticket here. It will give you a QR code to access the ferry.
Please note that the crossing take 4 to 6 hours and that the ferry does not have a specific departure time, you might wait for a long time on the dock as they are loading trucks with cargo. Once in Lembar you still need 1h30 of drive to reach Owa Lodge, we can of course assist you for your arrival.
From the Gili Islands
Travelling from the Gilis (Gili Air, Gili Meno & Gili Trawangan) you will arrive in Bangsal harbor. You have 2 options to get there:
The public boat, that is the cheapest way with departure s when the boat is full, but crowed can be rge and you end up waiting.
Private speed boat, that can pick up you up at the harbor or directly at your acomodation if the tide allows it, the is the fastest way, it cost about IDR 400.000 and can fit 6 people.
The crossing last between 10 to 15 minutes, depending on which Gili you are, an other 2h driver to reach Owa Lodge. We can organise to have a taxi driver to wait for you and reach Owa.
Other information:

From Nusa Penida
Travelling from Nusa Penida or Nusa Lembongan you will arrive in Bangsal harbor or Senggigi harbor. You have few boat options and few daily departure to reach Lombok, so we recommand the company Wijaya.
The crossing takes about 2h and other 2h drive to reach Owa Lodge. We can organise to have a taxi driver to wait for you and reach Owa

Check IN time - 2pm
If you would like to check in earlier, we will let you know and try our best, if our current guests will be leaving earlier. If you do arrive earlier, you are more than welcome to leave your bags at reception and start to enjoy at the restaurant and relax at the pool.
Check OUT time - 11am
If you have a late flight, you are also more than welcome to leave your bags at reception and keep relaxing at the restaurant and around the pool.
Late Check IN
Arriving late? That’s fine, it’s not a problem. Your room will be prepared and ground staff will be informed so when you arrive you will be accompanied to your room.
Early Check OUT
Our restaurant opens at 7:30am and have an early activity such as diving or surfing, you can always pre order the food the night before and we will store in the fridge for you overnight :)
